...And that's when I used Reflexes on my Typhoid Rats and killed the Worldspine Wurm and its friends that came later while keeping my rats alive. Lol.

This is actually one of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's tentacles.

I have a Birthing Pod deck that runs Mimic Vat. This guy does hit the graveyard, so yeah, he is going right into it as soon as I crack 1.

I'm of the opinion that this thing is so big that it can't really be killed. Death effects on it just cause it to vomit its spawn, then withdraw to its subterranean lair.

Of course, Jarad likes to turn this guy into a necro bomb.

Also, it's awesome that like Autochthon Wurm, this guy can survive a meteor impact and an planetary crust fracture.

Im not going to say I really like thid card but im sure it'll see play.

I just had a thought... The most recent way to cheat this guy out has to be with guild feud.

FIll your deck with these guys, wolfir silverheart, birds of paradise, utvara hellkite maybe? Itll take some deck building strategem but this could prove to be the new scary green sun's zenith combo target. Omg on that note, craterhoof behemoth belongs in the guild feud deck too... Hmm so much potential.

Without considering shenanigans, that's 60 total added power/toughness for 11 mana.

Compare that to, say, some old card, like Craw Wurm, where it was 10 total added power/toughness for 6 mana.

OBVIOUSLY, don't be too excited to play it: 11 mana is a lot to ramp to, and this is easy to remove.

Another card that looks and acts more at home in Innestrad than Ravnica.

@RainbowCrash Worldfire exiles permanents. Worldspine Wurm's first ability only triggers when it dies (hits the graveyard from the battlefield).
