whats that you have less then 10 life while your Ulamog, the Infinite Gyreinite Gyre is in play and you wanted to swing? well maybe I'll sac my wall who knows?

Someone, somewhere, has made a deck that involved attacking with this so that they can trigger both lifegain and lifeloss at the same time for some reason. I want to see that deck.

All the people saying use Valor Made Real this only gives you 4 life same as if you didn't use Valor Made Real you only get life based on damage hit meaning 0/4 you get 4 life.

The perfect Pariah, in both flavor and function. (That's the closest Magic will ever come to letting you literally take hostages.)

It could be pretty hilarious to cast this off Aluren, too.

I don't see a reason why they had to make this so hard to cast.

I used to love this card.
But after some frustrating casting issues, I have to say I'd have liked this card sooo much more if it was 1BlackWhite instead.

I can see why they made it double-black: Lifegain is white and black's thing, but lifeloss is only black's thing.
However, being a 0-power defender balances that out again.
And Soul Link, which also has a 'flavor polarity' of activeness, passiveness and lifegain, also costs 1WhiteBlack.

Double-costed two-drops are hard enough to get out on turn two already.
Three-drops that use three colored mana are even harder to get out on turn three.

i dont need it broken.i would just give it indestractible and flying/reach and block turn.yea sure,tramble yould still pass through som dmg but the the life gain sould be enought to cover this...ass for token armies.a wrath of the god can make the trick.
