If I Mass Polymorph and get Renegade Doppleganger and Terrastodon they enter the battlefield at the same time. Can doppleganger enter the battlefield as terrastodon so i can destroy 6 permanents that turn?

I saw this being played in a ninja deck, and it was pretty cool. Whenever a ninja jumped in combat, this guy became a copy of him. Other than that, this is a cool way to take further advantage of your creatures, but it requires a lot o build-around.

Nobody states the obvious? This copies your giant Eldrazi and effectively gives them haste (by becoming one that is ready to attack.) This means you cheat a hand of emrakul into play T3 or something and blargh into the enemy real quick. Doesn't matter if they kill the real hand, as you'll probably drop another giant next turn, doing this again.
Many neat uses when looked at like that. Look to sacrifice effects, or effects that are simply too powerful if the creature had haste and you then have a creature that plays well with this guy. Cheat in anything big with Apprentice Necromancer and you'll have 2 big dudes to play with.
Say
T1: Dark ritual, Putrid Imp, Apprentice Necromancer
T2: this guy, attack for 2 (if you can get away with it.)
T3: Discard fatty (demon of death's gate?), attack for 18 flying trample.
