One possibility to why people would rate this lower than 5 is becouse its so broken... I personally hate it when players (other than me) start the game with this... Hypocrit much?

Mishra's Workshop, Sol Ring, Lightning Greaves, Lotus Petal, Tinker

Huh, I guess this is the only way to get the astonishing new art in foil form, since the Commander decks don't have foils.
Admittedly I got the Relics after seeing the art for Nevinyrral's Disk, and noticing they were selling pretty cheap. Didn't notice Sol Ring in the lineup until I opened it. This was a nice, nice, nice, nice bonus to find.

I'd rate it less than five because it's simply TOO good. When a card is so good there's no reason to not have it in your deck, well it shouldn't get a 5 for sure.
That said, It is a staple of magic history, and is no doubt a good card so It's hard to give it any less than a 4.5.
