This would go great with Distortion Strike.

Might not be seen in standard, but what dragon is? This is just a really cool card to have in your collection. Best art I've seen on a dragon spell yet.

Pulled this from my first pack of M12, though initially unimpressed, there are certainly many combos that can put this on the field earlier than turn 7

Of course its no Phyrexian Dreadnought, and this card is a bit underpowered compared to the rest of the mythics printed before it. However I dislike the idea of being forced to have a playset of 4 mythics in order to have any chance of winning (looking at you Baneslayer Angel!)

Probably will not see this in Standard play very often, but at least it will provide some fun in casual

4/5

This card is, for me, the old "Frosted Mini-Wheats" commerical...

The Spike in me says, "This dies to removal, is foiled by bounce/mind-control effects, and probably needs Geosurge to be a relevant part of my game before it's over--which risks causing me card-disadvantge. At least if it had haste, I might get one swing with it in! I'll see if I can find a gullible friend who will let me trade this with some crap rares and uncommons for a titan!"

The Timmy in me says, "12/12 flyer for 4RedRedRed! Awesome! Shut up, Spike, before you have to call in sick to the office tomorrow explaining that a 12-year-old gave you a concussion and broken ribs!"

Seriously, under the theory that Mythics are supposed to go "Thud!" when they hit the table, this DEFINITELY fits the bill. 3-3.5/5 for playability. If you have other removal bait in your deck (and if you don't, why not?), this might be playable. Just don't put it in a traditional bloodthirst deck that's designed for... (see all)

Nothing really wrong with it. Really is quite a fancy finisher.

The King of BloodThirst makes an appearance but bringing him out is always a problem unless you have a little help from a Goblin Fireslinger or two.

@Stream Hopper...I realize the evils of standard because I had a brief and unfruitful career in it. However standard is how Wizards rakes in a large amount of publicity and income. But when a grand prize of several thousand dollars awaits the winner...there really isn't any time for fun...after all its a card game but it has fallen from grace these days and many of the cards in standard are impossible to use for casual players due to price ranges. I only have one Jace the Mind Sculptor...=(...but hey its pretty fun playing with my pals at lunch during my last year of high school. I agree with you.

Narrator: Hey there Timmy I see you found yourself a new pet.
Timmy: Jee willikards ain't he somethin Mr. Narrator sir?
Narrator: That he is Timmy. Lets take a closer.....
(Breaths Fire all over Narrator's face)
Narrator: Look....

All and all, this is probably the only de***ion of what Timmy is feeling when he sees this card. A big flying pet that just gets bigger if you did something before you bring it out. I love it for how cute he is. And yes for a 6/6 possibly a 12/12 flyer he is cute concidering his competition is the Titans as for Magic's utility pagent. This will forever be my Pet Dragon guys. He and Steel Hellkite are best of Friends, oh and for you guys who don't think like this, play with Sarkhan the Mad out with this guy. Lets just say you won the game without ever using him to attack in the first place.
