Use with things like Cudgel Troll that can regenerate for cheap costs, also the umbra cycle from Rise of Eldrazi will help your critters stick around. Shame it doesn't work with Eldrazi Monument (since the monument is destroy the same time the creatures would be and once the monument is gone creatures go too). Maybe Ezuri, Renegade Leader?

Does this card make for terrible combos? Yes.
Is it hilariously awesome when you pull it off? Oh hell yes.
Because nothing is more humiliating then losing to a Darksteel Sentinel.

This is going right into my equipment deck. Nothing amuses me more than tossing this onto something with Darksteel Plate and obliterating everything on the field. This card is everything I love about Magic, incredibly flavorful and powerful cards that are just fun to play.

Could be a winner in a Venser deck. Blink out your best creature, get Worldslayer's effect off, and your creature returns to a blank field.

I'm rather surprised this was reprinted, especially since effects that destroy all lands in play are generally frowned upon these days.
Solid card if exploited properly, such as with indestructible creatures.
