5/5 for a simple card, with satanic abilities.

Cracked open a pack of Gatecrash to find one of these simple cards inside. Not a money maker, not an insane rare, but for a man whose friends love to run Invisible Stalkers it's a godsend in with 3 mana normally a win condition in green. 4.5/5 for beautiful results.

This card is truly awesome. only 1 colorless mana (as cheap as possible) and it's main function to see through hexproof THEN it will be the finishing touch and a mass overrun of your troops to win the game.

5/5 all the way. I really need to get 4 of these...at least..

A card that is a set too late. Geist of Saint Traft has had his fun already...

Obviously, the second ability is much more useful than the first in most games. The second ability is not bad though. Sets up an easy kill in swarmy/big creature decks.

You maindeck it for the 2nd ability, and the 1st ability politely hoses a few creatures that needed to be hosed.

If WOTC ever prints a noir-detective-themed set, this has got to be in it.
Calling it now.
Totally going to happen. Totally.

I originally bought the card for the first ability as a dimir player, but the second was never a thought until it started saving me from the rampant wipes of commander.
It's a very flexible and fun design to me, 5/5.

I don't see why this card isn't rated higher. It has wonderful flavor and powerful mechanics. Opponents playing pesky hexproof creatures? No problem. Opponent wants to Fireball your creatures? Too bad for him or her. Even better, it makes you completely unstoppable when you're ready for your alpha strike.

So when my selesnya opponent play sterling grove and privileged position to protect his blazing archon and avacyn, angel of hope from my sudden spoiling, this will allow me to ruin his plans? I love it.
