Where do they come up with these casting costs? 10GreenGreenGreenWhiteWhite? That and the power/toughness numbers, 9/14 - they look like they were drawn out of a hat. By the way, what's a "Timmy"? Is that another word for "moron"? -Dr. Jack

No, Timmy is the personification of a certain kind of Magic the gathering player. Now, Timmy personifies the kind of player who uses brute force to win. He fights to the last breath and uses brute force and powerful creatures to beat his opponents. There is Johnny, who represents the power of comboing spells together to make powerful concoctions. He uses spells in combinations to produce a desired effect. Then there is Spike. He represents the power of using singularly or almost singularly instants and sorceries to win. He uses magics that wear down an opponent.

Now, each of these are pretty much the broadest definition for Magic player types, these are not concise, but these are what the slang terms are. Now do you understand?... (see all)

My friend Dave Guskin says that the name of this card is pronounced: "auto-kuh-thon wurm".

Hey wizards, remember when you made this card at 15 mana? It was just a big body with trample and convoke and everyone was happy with it. It's not broken and format-defining, but it still saw plenty of play.

Now Emrakul has the same CMC, is colorless and has five more abilities. The only drawback is that it is a legend but honestly 9 times out of 10 your opponent will just scoop if it resolves, and if they don't you'll still win anyway. That's downright stupid WotC. He should cost, like 30. and have half as many abilities.
