If you have both Abyssal Persecutor and Platinum Angel in play on your side of the battlefield, all players' souls are permanently trapped in the game - forever (unless the cards can be destroyed, or they concede).

Awesome card! considering the number of black cards that allow you to sacrifice your own creatures, you'd have to be seriously unlucky (or put him in a deck that's just not designed for him) to not be able to get rid of him.
only time i can think of trying desperately to cast shroud on an opponents creature

Hell, even toying with Desecration elemental was fun.
I still like good ol' dusty the best, and I now recognize desecration elemental is garbage. But it doesn't take a geneous to know this is easily the most constructed worthy.

I can't wait for this guy to team up with Phyrexian Obliterator and pick up a Lashwrithe and whip people until they scream "Mono-black control is superior! Mono-black control is superior!!" while they get tortured into negative life-totals without being allowed to die, and then will cast a Day of Judgment just to ease the pain. Unless the Black Sun's Zenith occurs first, in which case they will still die.

I run him with Rite of Consumption, Phyrexian Tower, and Demon of Death's Gate for sac outlets, since none of them can be responded to by the opponent.
