With Infernal Plunge, this is a highly viable card for standard. sac a Goblin Arsonist and you're in business on turn 5, or earlier than that!

Has RG burn gone out of style? Play Lightning Bolt and use the Elvish Piper you have on the field to drop this guy on main phase two. Depending on how fast your mana accel is, you could have him out up and running by turn 4.

this card is good... but the moment it enters the feild it becomes the #1 target. i cant tell you about all the times it has been pasified, arrested, or worst yet, mind controlled. i have only ever played a real game with it once, but cept getting blocked by small 1/1 owls, or 2/4 spiders. it took me 12 turnes to finaly hit the guy. once i hit him, i did kill him, but it was once in many games i played with it. it is simply too big of a target.

All but worthless in Standard, but a fun card on the dinner table (and that's ok). 4/5 for the Big Numbers Are Big factor.

I played a casual M12 draft with some friends. Pulled this as my first pack rare, it's like "I'll go for red, sure!" So I drafted a bit of green to fill her out, but in the first game, it was turn 8, and i topdecked a Goblin Arsonist. It's like, crap. i play it anyways. Then I draw this, and go "YES!" attack with the arsonist and it dies, I deal one damage to him, down comes a bloodthirsty hellkite. I win the game next turn.
