Find it really funny that he is the exact opposite of the Invoker cycle in the same set. Now you get to decide whether you want to pay a bit early game and then 8 later for a sweet effect, or 7Green up front for a crazy ability that you can SPAMLIKECRAZYFORPRACTICALLYNOTHINGBLUUH!

I'm sorry, but purely on the art alone, I must rate 5. It's actually incredibly detailed. Plus, that active is horrifyingly strong. "in response to you declaring your attack, I make my field 7/7 + whatever +1/+1 counters they have", one colorless mana, doesn't even have to tap. Also Wild Pair

But I digress, dat art...
