The flail can be devastating equipped to the right creature...
My favourite target, Wurmcoil Engine.
The artwork is great, the flail looks vicious... I wish they could have had some flavour text...

My favourite card to abuse this with is Spitemare - although, contrary to what one or two people said here, it doubles the damage, not quadruples, due to the combat-damage-only restriction. Still fun and head-scratchy, though.
Best thing to do with Flailmare, IMO? Well, first: swing it at an opponent. They sigh, and weigh up whether they can afford to take 6 from leaving it unblocked. Maybe they can't afford to. Maybe they resign themselves to 2 in the face and they chump with a 1/1. Maybe they're lucky, and have a wall or something else with 0 power. Maybe they breathe a sigh of relief.
Maybe your hand slips and you just accidentally happen to Righteousness their blocker. WHOOPS. >:B
