Unique flavour text, it basically reads "We must have been mad when we made this, and you are an imbecile if you play it." They should have saved that flavour for omniscience.

Altered the text to say "Destroy target player. They can't be regenerated." I feel it more appropriately express what I just did to them.

amazing card. i run it in a GWU (with 2 mountians and 2 swamps plus multi color lands) blue and white obviously for countering/blocking, pretty much all defenders, some with flying, a lot have "indestructible" or "this card takes no combat damage". also have 3 chromatic lanterns and one gilded lily plus two voltaic keys

i have a full standard door to nothingness deck that actually works about... i'ed say 2/3 times against normal agro/creature decks, i haven't played it against control much, and there are certainly much better ways to win, but i cant think of a single better way to make them lose.
its based off prevents, i have full playsets of 4 different prevents, with multiple returns.
in all i have about 30-33 ways to prevent in that deck, (only way i can find it to even slightly work in standard) its hilarious against casual standard play, went 2 wins 4 losses in my local tournament, so not bad.

i think the earliest i've ever door'd was turn 5... (keep in mind this is when M13 had just come out, the deck is full standard now as well, and works better in my opinion)

Turn 1: play Forest (Green:1) 1 : played Llanowar Elves
Turn 2: played Island (Green:2|Blue:1) 3 : played Rampant Growth for Mountain, tapped autocar... (see all)

Just got done putting a door deck together using the axebane/galvanic alchemist infinite combo, possible to win on turn 6 with door, yeah. And a couple extra win cons what with the infinite mana.

Did it really have to come into play tapped? 5WhiteWhiteBlueBlueBlackBlackRedRedGreenGreen to use this right away, much harder then Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and hardcasting him will have the same effect. Not to mention that this can still be countered.

Could someone explain to me why Vampire Nocturnus, Exalted Angel, and Thundermaw Hellkite are mythic while this isn't?
I mean, look at it:
It has a mana cost that is shares with Progenitus that is so ridiculous to even look at, let alone pay for.
It has a unique and thoroughly awesome effect.
It is simultaneously extremely elegant and hilariously overblown in its design.
The only thing it's lacking is good flavor text. The old Memnarch flavor text was awesomely evil. The current flavor text is somewhat uninspired.
The art could have been better, as well. Neither piece of art captures the brutality of essentially exiling a player.
This card defines mythic rarity for me.
That said, if this can exile a player, why can't it exile a planeswalker?
