combomaster It is the most common mythic rare ever I dont know anyone who bought a decent amount of Zendikar boaster packs who didn't get one and plenty of people I play with did by boasters.

My U/G "Turn taking" deck uses this card to it's fullest extent
Turn 1: Forest, Birds of Paradise
Turn 2: Lotus Cobra, any land, 2 more Birds or my personal favorite, Bloom Tender
Turn 3: Land, Mana Reflection
Turn 4: Land, Time to break out the big guns! At this point you can cast just about anything. I usually go with Kozilek, Butcher of Truths, Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre, Blightsteel Colossus, or one of the most hated cards I own... Tidespout Tyrant OR you can basically win it immediately with a Time Stretch followed by one of the big guys, followed by a massive attack :)
Lotus Cobra adds that extra mana I need for these combos. Sometimes you'll be sitting there with a REALLY nice card and are 1 mana short. Then you'll wish you had the Lotus Cobra :-p

When I looked at this thing I was like.. that's good, but not THAT good.
Now I play valakut. I can get a turn 3 primeval titan with this bad dude, deal 18 damage, and if unblocked, swing with it for the win! (or explore into another mountain!)
Phenominal card. I need 2 more.

I don't care if that card is mythic or not. It generates incredeble amount of mana, fetch lands + harrow and u can drop primeval titan in 3rd turn, which generates next two mana for other cobra =) Perfect.

Fantastic card, but I've seen a lot of decks concede to the Cobra getting killed. When your backbone is this strong it hurts that much more when you snap it.
It can add a lot of speed to your strategy, but don't let yourself need the cobra to win the game.

Lotus Cobra is a very good card in term's of mana pools. It would be useful if you have a great but overpriced card up your sleeve.
