  • Fixed a bug present when navigating the "View Prints" page for cards with multiple printings.
  • Card Detail pages now default to showing the current Oracle record text to better reflect how the card functions. Toggling the Oracle toggle switches between this Oracle version of the card's text and the Printed version, if there are any differences. The card's image still shows the image of that particular printing of the card and Gatherer remembers the selected toggle preferences for Oracle vs Printed when navigating around the site.

We recently launched version 2.0 of the Gatherer website, delivering a refreshed experience with improved performance, more responsive layouts, and a modernized interface for exploring Magic: The Gathering cards. This update lays the foundation for ongoing enhancements that make it easier for players to browse cards, explore rulings, and find what they need on any device. Since the initial launch, we’ve made several improvements to further polish and optimize the experience based on your feedback. Look forward to more improvements in the future!

Changes since 6/2/2025 launch:

  • Player preferences for display view type (e.g., visual or list view) and Oracle text view are now saved
  • Improved set name filters for easier filtering by expansion or product
  • General UI and data display fixes for cleaner card browsing and readability
  • Mobile optimizations for search behavior and display view consistency
  • Enhanced Oracle rules search, improving accuracy and usability of advanced rules queries
