there is no way to cast this turn 1, at best it is turn 3 cast with cascade, that being said, it is deffinatly a powerful card, depending on what you play

Wild Pair only triggers if you cast the critter. Hypergenesis just puts them into play. So no, it doesn't combo with Wild Pair.

is the CMC for this card ZERO or THREE? i see many comments saying that you can Violent Outburst and cascade into this... but I thought that cascade lets you look for cards with CMC LESS than the cast card
702.82a Cascade" means "When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card whose converted mana cost is less than this spell's converted mana cost.
I wasn't around when suspend or cascade was introduced, so someone help me figure this "combo" out...

@Zarcron: Show and Tell uses this same wording, too, and that was designed roughly 10 years before this was. I don't know if they look that far into the future.

@Toasy: The CMC of this card is 0. Even though Suspend is the only way you can cast the card, Suspend is still only an ability. Not the actual cost of the card.

Good way to empty people's hands: dump Child of Alara right at the end, then sac it or just dump another one.

Edit: Thanks Prizrak, that rules clarification helped.
