I love it with Xira Arien, now that she's an insect.
I can picture hordes of filthy, infectious, gore-spattered rats and insects and spiders swarming the place... then Xira shows up in her ballroom gown. Eating carrion with a fork and knife, dabbing blood with a handkerchief... too funny.

rats have generally low casting cost, this can easily take up the slot of 4 of what would otherwise be swamps, you'll hardly notice they are there, except that your rats will suddenly be much more tenacious.
