In elder dragon highlander, I always save this for a sensei's divining top not only because that card is so annoying, but because than I can say "sorry but you are going to have to go topless."

One of the only cards that can stop Sensei's Divining Top. Amazing

Counterbalance is still worse, because, if they're lucky and have a three drop on top, this can STILL be countered, because Counterbalance is a triggered ability, not an activated one.
Also, Morph cards can be turned face up in response because they don't use the stack, allowing a willbender to change the targets of your Kgrip. xD
Plus, it's used as anti-control, whatever they're using probably deserved what's coming to it. xD

This card is sacred. This is not only a great card, but a great model for game strategy (mass multiplayer) and life; for Split Second is very broken, but this card uses that powerful mechanic justly, without any further unnecessary indulgences. This card only seeks to maintain balance in the game and keep it interesting, yet nothing more. For all those who have been locked down by Rule of Law, Mindslaver, or Counterbalance (against a player who doesn't know what to do before passing priority), let everyone bow their heads for a moment of silence.
P.S. There was a multiplayer game where an opponent and I first met. He locked everyone down with Mycosynth Lattice and March of the Machines, but too late in the game. I Spelljacked his Dross Scorpion. That did nothing but severely prolong the game, however that was his firs... (see all)

This is the card that gives us mono-green EDH players a sense of relevancy.
That, and the occasional green counterspell.

@scumbling1 Green have Harmonize as card draw, which is at least better than white. This card doesn't change anything about green. It just adds to green's specialism by allowing green to do something that can't be done by anything else on the color pie. And how can you splash green if you run Azami, lady of Scrolls as your commander?

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.
This card references Naturalize, first printed in Onslaught, where green's primary setting was Krosa.

This is INCREDIBLY useful, because it can blow stuff up before it activates.
Werewolf decks wish this was standard so they could get rid of Ratchet Bomb
