I want to see a really cheap haste effect like this combined with the old "creatures you control attack each turn if able" draw back, just to capture the recklessness.

Inexpensive, but vulnerable. Put it on one of your Red walls or something and you should be fine.

Compare to Fires of yavimaya. I like both and neither is strictly better or worse than the other. One is cheaper which is a huge plus for haste as in the earlier you play it, the better. While the other gives you an added +2/+2 bonus that has almost always helped me when I played fires but it has a drawback of costing 1 additional 
. The drawback here is, it's much more suseptible to removal as its tied to a creature. Plus, if you lose it, you most likely lost a creature too (not a very good one if you were smart) but still, getting two for oned is never fun. All in all I like it, and IMO its strictly better than Fervor, which is probably the one closest in category to compare with, but many could and prob will make the removal argument and I totally get why they'd pay 1 more mana to make it harder to get rid of..

Just drop this on a Traproot Kami if you're running red and green, or a Wall of Stone and you'd be pretty good to go.

Missed reprint opportunity for RTR block. I guess they figured there would be plenty of haste available in Standard already.
