When utlilized to its full potential, this card can be extremely treacherous. Example include: Infiltrator il-Kor, Noggle Bandit, Oona's Prowler . . .

Actually quite the amazing card, pair it up with faeries, and your flying discard engines now get shroud too. Even if you didn't have a rogue to throw it on right away, its still only equip cost 3. Whispersilk cloak is arguably better, where as cloak and dagger is just an obvious choice for anyone playing rogues.

Best creature for it is Inkfathom Infiltrator, if you have an Oona's Blackguard out then the infiltrator comes into play as a 5/2, add in a prowled Stinkdrinker Bandit and your infiltrator is a 7/3 unblockable shroud that forces the opponent to discard a card, all of them for 2 mana... yum...

What happens when you have two of these out, and you try to equip a Rogue using the enter the battlefield ability? Both abilities go on the stack, and the first resolves. The creature now has Shroud. Does the second Cloak and Dagger still equip, because the Rogue was targeted before it had Shroud, or does the equip ability fizzle on accounts of the Shroud?

You're doing it wrong if you're paying the equip cost.

The Rogue ETB equip effect is not targeted; therefore it circumvents shroud. A Neurok Commando can still be equipped with Cloak and Dagger, but only upon entering the battlefield. Likewise can be said about any other rogue that is still in the process of triggering any ETB effects; they can have two equipped, but ONLY if you allow both triggers to resolve. If you equip one Cloak and Dagger and neglect to equip the other to the same creature, you cannot pay the equip cost to attach it (the second) to the same creature as long as the other Cloak and Dagger remains equipped.

Well, kind of. You'll still be taking 3 damage every turn, but at least he won't be swinging in with Quietus Spike. Or Sword of Fire and Ice. Or Batterskull.

Nice combo with Deft Duelist, one of the few ways to equip her. 4/1 shrouded first strike... ouch.
Aside from that, a nice item which a lot of different creatures can benefit from.
