There are answers to everything in the game. This is no exception.

mask of the mimic won't work, at least not if you plan to sacrifice a demigod to pay for its effect, hoping to get it back when the next demigod enters the battlefield. That's because the sacrificed demigod is no longer in play when you want to target it with mask of the mimic. Also, the second demigod is put onto the battlefield, not cast, so it won't even bring its buddy from the graveyard.
BTW, this critter works great in my Survival of the Fittest deck.

This guy sort of reminds me of the dancing Brooms in Fantasia.
Killed one? Oh look! Now I have 2...
Killed those? Now I have 3... 4...

Best way to get multiple's out of the graveyard is to use Buried Alive with Necromancy.

Swamp, 4 Dark Ritual, Buried Alive, this, swing for the first turn win.
Totally a DemiGodhand, of course. :P

@darkfury: "The Demigod cant actually resurrect his buddies if they were killed by wither damage." I don't know what that means, but I can definitely tell you it's wrong.

This guy is insanely powerful, I don't see how anyone can look at him right away and not go really? 5 mana? But apparently people in these comments all own playsets of Baneslayer Angel's so this just isn't good enough for them!

while I would hate to be facing any of the cycle, this would be the one I would choose if I could choose one
it is a 5/4 and unless I have already dealt with a couple others, he is not that big of a problem, a small flying block and we are all happy

@dingo777
ok so what your saying is "i am prepared on turn 5 for a 5/4 with haste by chump and or multiblocking down this 5/4 flyer, But i sure hope there isn't more then one coming at me"
the problem is
a) your playing vs black and/or red meaning that your probably not going to have flyers and if you do i'm betting they're taped. and
b) Your saying the deck using demigod of revenge is not too much of a problem if they don't have more then 1. except they will because there using demigod of revenge.
furthermore demigods ability triggers on cast not on successful cast meaning unless your counter spell has a exile component, he's kinda uncountable.
