A little tough to play in Limited, but you'd be hard pressed to find a bigger soldier. Not the card for everyone, and I don't think a lot of Soldier decks will be splashing green for it, but with a couple of buffs this is a body that you can't ignore.

A little expensive, but useful if you want a sturdy ground defense and the Guardians of Akrasa aren't big enough. Only worth the mana in a soldier deck, though, since he can get a really substantial bonus from the smiths (potentially as high as +4/+4, though that would take a while) and Captain of the Watch (another potential +4/+4).

Repeatable Hurricane for 2 on a beefcake is pretty darn sweet.

horrible horrible card
wont ever see play
wait a tick
i see the word soldier in the subtype
captain of the watch for+1/+1 and vigiliance
Rhox Pikemaster for first Strike
Yeh maybe a bit mana intensive but once lorwyn/sad cycle out this will be one of the beefiest soldiers available. with the right cards play before it
this can be a 7/9 vigilance first strike for 7
pfft green kill flyers? not worth my time.
