The Woolly Thoctar is a real powerhouse, and I remember it causing a lot of trouble for my friends whenever I was able to cast this on my third turn. Still, the manacost makes the Thoctar pretty hard to actually cast unless you've either been really lucky with your mana, or if you've got some pretty expensive mana fix in your deck.
However, how great Woolly might be, the new Leatherback Baloth from Zendikar beats it hands down. It might only be playable in green, but it's so much more consistent than the Thoctar. Still, the Thoctar gets 4.5/5 for its amazing artwork and ridiculous impact on the game early on if your opponents doesn't have any immediate answers.

Three mana for a card with over 4 P/T and doesn't have a downside(Ability)? Pretty good :)

This card is living proof of the recent tendency to dumb the game down. I give it a 2,5 just for ruining my favourite game.

meh. the only reason i dont like this is because it is still somewhat hard to get out on turn 3, which would be ideal. id much rather leatherback baloth, which is the same thing except all green and the power and toughness are switched

What? Vanilla creatures are everywhere (since Alpha *cough*). How is this proof of dumbing the game down?

Awesome 3rd turn Naya fatty. On your fourth turn, enchant him with an Armadillo Cloak and you'e got a 7/6 Trample with Lifelink, if all the damage goes through you're looking at turn 4 life totals of 27 to 13 and that's always fun. Even better if you can give this guy haste since he's a big target for removal when he comes out.

One of the best indeed but i hate it when i have only 2 of the 3 collors needed. Sometimes this card can be a big disadvantage. But yet if he is out on turn 3, you are very close to win.

5/4 for three mana is already decent, yet being triple-colored, making him 5/5 wouldn't have been game-breaking either, I'd have loved to se him like that - also for flavor reasons.
Yet afterall, this one is certainly not bad either i guess...
On top of that, the artwork is amazing.
