The new Spectral Flight is better, but this has cooler art and cooler flavor!

Generally not a bad value for the cost. Besides, spending {UR} to buff a creature and give it flying sure beats spending {2RR} to give it a slightly better buff and flying. I'm looking at you, Shiv's Embrace.

Holy crap this card is WAAAAAY underrated, I really don't understand. I've won many games on the...wings..of this card. Seriously. Okay maybe in a professional atmosphere there are better things you can play for two mana, but that's overly general.
This combos fantastically with many other similarly colored cards in the set, namely Fire-Field Orge, Kederekt Creeper, Shambling Remains, Vedalken Ghoul, hell I've even stuck one on my Sedraxis Specter to make him beef.
But my favorite combo is with Grixis Grimblade. The power of this combo really takes people by suprise. Turn 2, Grimblade, Turn 3, Magefire, and a 5/2 flying deathtouch creature attaks. Turn 3. It's serious.
This card on it's own is nothing special but like most good cards in magic, it's how well they combo that tells you how good they really are.

@SavageBrain - there are far too many better auras for Uril, and even in his own colors. For example, Asha's Favor. Generally a so-so enchantment, it's brutal on Uril. +2/+2, Flying, Vig and First Strike. It turns him into an absolute machine. I usually put Predatory Advantage on him too - generally a bad enchantment, on Uril you can attack with him (for 7 if you have Asha's Favor up), block with him, then at the end of your opponent's turn tap him to take out a creature with 7 or less toughness. Pretty nice.

I agree, enchantment auras do not belong in the Izzet colors. However it is fun to enchant it on Uril, the Miststalker if he's being played in a red-green-white-blue deck with Sovereigns of Lost Alara.

Do blue and red play auras? I thought the color pair was all about card advantage. Furthermore, are there good blue and red creatures that need flying and more power? Blood Knight, maybe.

2 for 1 magnet. Can be okay on something that has hexproof, or something like
Cephalid Constable.

Spectral Flight doesn't trigger Riverfall Mimic.
