@ Tolarus: Yes, it does, and because it's a board-wide effect, not even shroud will save them. My friend ran an insane Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind Commander deck and then this guy made is appearance. Because nothing says friendship like getting your face beaten in by your own Commander.

Hilariously strong in EDH when yanked into the graveyard by Scion of the Ur-Dragon. Start turn with Rise of the Dark Realms or Twilight's Call, flop this guy into the graveyard after the one you picked resolves, then swing with every dragon in your graveyard. If you can mill your library somehow first, then every dragon in your deck. Yank him out of the graveyard if the game is still going on next turn and it gets even better.
Worst case, assuming you can't set anything else up, 2 mana for immunity to "destroy nonblack creature effects" and haste on a 7/7 body. They are a good combo, even if his middle ability doesn't fire off due to his not really entering play.
Even more fun if, somehow, Sarkhan the Mad is on the field.

When playing this guy in EDH, be sure to kill the blue player first - clone effects are a serious bummer with the new legend rule.

I love playing with this guy in EDH. Of course, I don't have a deck with him, but I do run gilded drake in my Melek, Izzet Paragon deck.
Amazing card, but yeah, you really have to hope no-one is running any copy / steal effects or you're done.

Question I was playing a game and had Karrthus and some other dragons in grave my opponent had a sakashima the imposter. I played living death. So who gets the dragons since she copied Karrthus?

Pretty crazy and impractical combo, but I want to do this with a Scion of the Ur-Dragon EDH deck:
1) Play Conspiracy, choose creature type Dragon
2) Donate it to whoever has the most cool stuff out
3) Play this guy (either from hand, or reanimated after sending it to the graveyard with Scion) and gain control of their stuff, then kill them with it, getting your Conspiracy back.
4) Snapcaster Mage the Donate, Cloudshift Karrthus, repeat until new friends are necessary.
