The french version of this card had a misprint - it said "target player" instead of "target opponent." You could target yourself, then go through your deck and grab whatever disgusting combo you wanted in one go.
An even better way to get your opponent to punch you.

Heres what I propose. Its a complicated setup, but you get argivian archaeologist, ornithopter, master transmuter, and amulet of vigor into play. do this, then get jesters mask into the grave. Then, tap two white, it hits your hand using argivian archaeologist, use master transmuter on the ornithopter, swap it for the mask, get it out untapped cuz of your amulet, then pay its cost, reuse. Next turn everything untaps and you can do the combo again. Kind of a complicated setup, but I think with certain artifacts and cards it can work... For instance, Cast insidious dreams, discarding the mask and some other cards to search up the rest of the combo.

Activate it before you play your win card to guarantee they won't counter it. If you really want to be evil, use it before you use Mindslaver and do anything you want come their turn! Great card!

@nibelheim_valesti: Combining this with Goblin Welder actually seems like a fun casual combo.
The main problem with this card is that at the time you're going to activate the ability, your opponent won't have that many cards left in hand. So activating the ability early is an important part to profit from that.
Skill Borrower might also work with some luck.
Another good use for this might be with mass bounce effects.
Activate the ability, then put Evacuation on the stack, so you can exchange each creature (and any other card in his hand) for a land. Upheaval would be nice as well, but that one is a Sorcery...
@Sooku: Mindslaver would be the ultimate casual combo with this :D

This is great, because of the wording. You don't give cards at random for the new hand, you CHOOSE them. This is a great way to get rid of any counters or lands the opponent has, and possibly give them a dead hand of cards that they won't have the mana to pay for. Also a great way to see any cards or strategies the opponent has in the deck too =)
