I would have enjoyed a version with cmc 1 and:
Tap 2 untapped creatures: Bramblesnap gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
(or if this would have been overpowered: Tap 3 untapped creatures: Bramblesnap gets +3/+3 until end of turn)

Me and my friend were wondering, if you tap this card to give it self +1/+1 when it attacks does it still do damage? We heard somewhere that if you do that, it will get +1/+1 but it wont do damage to the creature it's being blocked by.

Thats what I figured, but say it was the other way around. What if he was defending, could he declare it as a defender then tap itself to make it a 2/2 so it could kill the attacker?
