Good for decks that are really only dabbling in green and can't rely too heavily on actual green creatures.

GINGERS HAVE SOULS!
Also, part of a relatively good cycle, but underpowered compared to the rest of green mana accel.

Useful for any sort of five color metalcraft deck, but useless for mono-green, obviously.

Actually this works amazing in my mono white token deck. This lets me splash a little bit of W/G things that heavily benefit tokens, so personally, I love it.

Strictly more colourless than Llanowar Elves.

@the people mentioning llanowar elves
This card may be worse than the other myr (since you have a lot of ramp options in green already), but it would be stupid if they didn't finish the cycle. This is also useful for decks that don't have much green in them since you can get green mana from a colourless source. Ya, you could run forests, but then your first turn may get screwed by it.

Because Llanowar Elves aren't myr. Even if you're green, you may be in-tribe, which can be very important; say with Myr Galvanizer
