Not a combo with Zephyr Spirit and Cyclopean Snare.
Ok everyone, think hard!
We need useful, efficient combos that don't require Auriok Steelshaper, Leonin Shikari, other discount effects, or swapping/Bazaar Trader effects. I personally think that whatever cool combo that could've been was turned off by the mana equip cost. Perhaps this was supposed to be some silly combo in standard. Maybe.
...
I'm stumped.

Too bad such a cool idea came out so bad. Less cost, more damage, almost anything could have made it near good... but as is.... no way.

This is the result of an useless crap developed by some lazy-ass designers without testing it's efficiency in play. And yes I know there's enough comments to emphasize this card, but the insult it gives to the artefact/Kor Equipment decks, I just have to say it.
What piece of garbage.

Ugh. Shuriken was an interesting concept, but this is just awful. If only it didn't return the damn thing to your hand...

Isn't there a Johnny out there who has the necessary power to find a useful combo for this?
I DARE YOU! ;)
HURRAH! I'll never look at it the same way again!
Now I have a new problem however: To keep my friend who plays an artifact deck from discovering that combo :S

@Icefang12 - Add Leonin Elder to your combo for infinite life-gain as well!

I keep thinking about this card and wonder why it would be allowed into the game. And the only thing I can think of it is either an misprint or a misunderstanding of the rule on the card.
It says to return to the owner's hand. My question is who is the owner? I own all of my cards. But what if I am playing my friend's deck does it go into him hand since he owns the card?
I am the Player, so the target should resolve to the owner. So if a creature equiped with an equipment the owner of the equipment until it is equiped to another creature? This would make more sense than creating a card that cost you 5 Mana to cause 1 damage.
I think the real way this is meant to be played is not to return to player's hand but instead to reattach it to the creature weilding it hence the difference between the owner and the player.
This would make this card a really good card to have in a wennie deck or any non-red deck giving the playing field a balance to the tap for direct damage.

Could you untap the equipped creature and activate the tap ability again in response to its own effect like Goblin cannon?
