As soon as I discovered this card at my local card shop, I bought it ASAP and now it is proudly displayed in my card binder.

Whoever wrote the flavor text deserves a gold medal for taking these guys seriously. Bees are pretty much the kings of natural weaponry, why on earth would they -want- metal weaponry? Especially with Fantasy Logic in place, which states quite clearly that size and hardness are directly proportionate. They should have gone for extra lulz and implied that the bees coat their newfound metal weapons with toxins from their stingers.

I love this card, the art is the best. My best friend was one vodka tonic away from getting this art tattooed on his arm, lol.

Hahahaha. The artist thought he was being funny. This is why I love early art. This is effectively a green shade, and it actually costs less than the black shade that has flying. Kewl. The flavour text is also hilarious.

Considering that green has virtually no removal, no evasion, and no way to deal with big flyers, but does have a ton of mana ramp, this is a pretty useful card. You can pump it to kill Baneslayer, or just to swing in for the kill if your opponent has flooded the ground with chump blockers. I like.

@storm_crow4presidnt
Ever had a splinter? Hurt like hell, didn't it.
Now imagine that splinter is made of steel, and is being stabbed into you repeatedly by a swarm of angry BEEEEEEES
I must admit though, the first thing I would do if I saw a bunch of bees chasing me brandishing centimeter long swords would be laugh. Then I'd probably die or something, but whatevs
