I don't care if dieing creatures is a black mechanic, sometimes flavor has to take precedence. Where do vultures live? Not in swamps, they live out in the open so they can clearly see dead things from miles away. I'm sorry but the open plains needs carrion eaters too so stop complaining and just enjoy this wacky flier.
