I don't think hes as bad as his rating suggests. A 5/3 for 4 is pretty solid when we're talking colorless, and the downside isnt even that bad, if it said "untap golemn, then untap a creature of your choice target opponent controls" it would let you do it when your opponent had no creatures, which of course as is now it doesnt... ok so its not that good 2.5/5

Soldevi Golem headed Lead Golem's warning and stole the tortoise's moral for his flavor text instead of trying to make one himself. Sadly the original was not much more liked then the rip=off...
