Prodigal Sorcerer, though less effective than other examples, is very effective for being in the same colour. And with that restrictive mana cost, I imagine it to be necessary.

mono blue ping deck would make more sense but definatly a multi player combo . every turn you take you pick from the bored .

With Plague Spitter: *cough, cough* OMG that giant lumbering beast was so charming and debonair, I'd better go join his side *cough, cough*.
MTG makes all the sense, as usual.

Notice that if the creature would die, you could move the aura to another creature and still keep all of the opponent's creatures :D.

@DoctorKenneth: Per Thrashing Wumpus' ability, all of the soldiers would be affected by the Charisma.

Cards like these are less effective on Niv-Mizzet and the likes since those creatures are IWIN if you don't kill me now anyway. Charisma turns a prodigal sorcerer in a kill-me-now-or-lose creature as well.

I loathe the flavor text. Gerrard was like some terrible DM's GMPC, a bland generic white male action hero with no discernible traits; yet the game was constantly trying to convince us how awesome he was.
I was mostly indifferent to him until I read the flavor text of this card, at which point I started to actively loathe him.
