Leave one slot for this and you'll never worry about an empty library again, and it also doubles up as early game lifegain (say, before you can play Day of Judgment). Really good card as a one-of in UW control decks or their sideboards.

@Athinor

What deck nowadays can't benefit from a 5-point shot in the arm for cheap? The fact that graveyard recursion is tacked on makes it all the better.

Combine that with the nigh-invulnerability of it (Steel Sabotage notwithstanding...seriously, this card is more useful than people think) and it's disgustingly powerful.

Should I run 61 cards to include this on a control deck? it's a great card, bane of mill and let's you replay everything again and again...

This card allows my casual artifact deck to reshuffle my used artifacts back into my library so I can tutor for them again. I use this with Mirrorworks so I can make several copies of it at once. I could also use Clock of Omens to activate it multiple times and gain a crap load of life.

Great card since it buffers your life total against really aggressive decks. 5/5

if you used Steal Artifact or Confiscate, among the many other permenant snatchers, would you shuffle this into your deck? or would it go back to the original owner's deck?

@BioPrince

Unfortunately, using Voltaic Key to untap Elixir of Immortality would not allow you to use its effect twice. The reasoning for this is because Elixir of Immortality gets shuffled into your library immediately after it resolves on the stack. So, even though you would have tapped it twice, it would get shuffled into your library when the first instance on the stack resolves, preventing the second instance from ever occurring. But its still a fantastic card!

Its not a great a card. Its crucial against certain decks, otherwise its just 5 life for three mana. Sidebar?

This card is broken. Seriously, there are some rules that SHOULD NOT be broken... one of those is that it should never go into the library of someone who doesn't own it. This card, if stolen and used, does exactly that.
