Plus it looks kinda like a bear to fit into bear tribal.

@scrumbling1 and Mushroombob

So, then the definite answer is NO, you can only flash it in during the end step, and it's effects wear off in the cleanup step right after that, and even if some weirdly timed triggered ability allows you to play it during the cleanup step (normally nobody has priority then), another cleanup step automatically starts to prevent any shenanigans like that from happening.

Makes the card a whole lot less awesome, but it's still good.

I love this card, for the same reasons I liked Simian Grunts (A.K.A. The Surprise Ape Rape Trio) back in the day plus all the reasons I like Giant Growth, with the Evoke flexibility added in to the mix. 5/5

It's great! I'm glad it was reprinted in Planechase. Bogardan Rager though, I don't think so...

I love this card - it has everything you'd need from your average uncommon green creature, and maybe even a bit more. You can cast Briarhorn for 4 mana and put a 6/6 monster on the table to eat a weaker attacker, which is awesome since green is very handicapped when it comes to dealing with creatures in play. Briarhorn is also usable when you attack, letting you play a Giant Growth on one of your creatures while at the same time putting a blocker on the table in case you swung with your entire force.

Protip: This card can trade with an attacking titan.

In most cases, flexibility leads to inefficiency. Most of the cycling modifications added 1 to their counterparts. This has two excellent effects that are costed reasonably in one package.
Oh hey, it has evoke too. That adds flexibility (with the characteristic inefficiency) without hurting the efficiency of the main play.
Would they have made this card for GreenGreenGreen or better without the evoke clause? It is unlikely and it would hurt the flexibility that is so key with this card.

It's a nice creature with it's normal cost and the evoke cost is fair, although saddening compared to something like Giant Growth.

Otherwise, it's an efficient flash-blocker, stand-in damage dealer, and a secondary instant, which is nice.

@scumbling1, sorry, but you're wrong. "at end of turn" definitely means at the end of the current turn, so if you flash him in during the end step, his ability will resolve during the end step, and end before your untap step.
