Good card in it's own right. But I would never use it. Common turn 2 plays I see when I play with my friends include White Knight, Black Knight, Silver Knight, Blood Knight, Nissa's Chosen, and Elvish Warrior. My point is that this is a decent two drop, but it doesn't really stand out as much as others.
Edit : I was just talking about cards that I see being played by my play-group. I was just explaing why I won't be playing a card I said was good. The list of creatures I named off are the weakest creatures my friends use.

Pauper only has one creature with both Vigilance and Haste. That's this guy. I gave it 4 stars just for that, but I can't help the feeling that Vigilance is largely wasted on low toughness creatures, and Haste is largely wasted on low power creatures. Compared to the other multicolored 2-drops I just feel this one kind of got shafted.
Deft Duelist is a common 2-drop with 2 abilities and it only needs to be on the field to ruin your opponent's day.
Tidehollow Strix can kill almost any creature by itself.
Steward of Valeron puts Vigilance to good use because it can for after it attacks.
These guys contribute beyond an early hit for 2 and weenie blocking.
Garruk's Companion can be Giant Growthed to high heaven and can't very well be chump blocked.
Goblin Deathraiders with Fists of the Demigod is way more devastating than the Cerodon w... (see all)

I hate the fact that it makes Rip-Clan Crasher obsolete.
The argument that one shouldn't compare creature with different color only applies to
creatures that have more than one difference in ABILITIES, P/T, AND/or CMC.
Rip-Clan Crasher has exact same P/T and CMC, but just lacks vigilance.
This gives the impression that is better than .

... Huh, lol funny with all the comments I saw on Skyknight Legionnaire and all he's got is flying and haste and costs an extra one colorless to play,
(Which seems to be ironic, I'd think Vigilance would be prized more than flying lol. I'd take Vigilance over flying any day!!)
I kinda figured this one's star rating would've already been a five star and have even better comments.
No big deal or nothing, just thought it odd is all.
For a two drop I'd say he's better than a "Decent card"... But that's just me.
I mean to give a TWO drop both Vigilance AND Haste just seems insane! Attack as soon as hitting the board and being able to block still... Seems rather AWESOME for a common and a two drop!

The path of a Boros player's supremacy begins with this puppy.

This guy in a deck with Scourge of the Nobilis and Honor of the Pure and other pumps is saucy. The RG Rip-clan Crasher is better in a deck with Mayor of Avabruck, and Champion of Lambholt.
I like how he's a Lightning Angel without the extra and buff. Opens up ideas for a UWR aggro-tempo deck.

This card rocks for boros strategy. Haste is awesome, and vigilance is just gravy.
