I think it is Crovax, and this certainly would combo well with Ascendant Evincar. Your own guys only get half the effect and the non-black enemy creatures get truly sunk.

Wipe out an army of weenies/tokens and have something get pumped at the same time with Blade of the Bloodchief and/or Sadistic Glee. Potentially being able to play it free while tapped out is even better.
This is akin to two hits from Pestilence that can take out indestructibles, great sideboard vs. white.

New Mirrodin Besieged creature Massacre Wurm has this card's effect as a comes-into-play effect. Exept it only affects your opponent's creatures. Oh, and your opponent loses 2 life for each creature that player controls that goes into the graveyard.
