As simply awesome and suitably mythic this is, this laughing guy will always be known by my friend as "Lolwurm"

Did I hear PINGAS?
This card is great. Black wurms that don't suck are always interesting to see, and this bro is no exception. Wonderful target for a kicked Rites of Replication. Your guys get -10/-10 and you lose 12 life for each guy that can't handle that? Assuming your first wurm didn't just come out that turn. More fun if the original wurm was theirs and you hit them with a mighty backfire.

Question: If I have a massacre wurm on the table and then play a day of judgement, do the opponents still lose life when their creatures hit the graveyard?

These used to be $18.00, right?

@Artan: a rules advisor in the rules q&a forum could tell you for sure, but my guess is "no" since the DOJ takes out everything simultaneously. Therefore, when the other creatures hit the GY this one is in it at the same time as them and it isn't on the BF for its ability to trigger. That's my guess, anyhow.

not all that alone but with the inhistrad's new love for the grave it may be time to bring him back for a test run; if you can live to turn six vs Red deck wins he can win, but Phyrexian Obliterator will do more for less

I have to see this as a single in a Birthing Pod deck, maybe alongside Glissa.

Yes the second ability will trigger if someone plays a day of judgement

This is the appropriate power level for insane 6-drops IMO. NOT the damn titans.

Carnival of Souls, Hunted Phantasm, Massacre Wurm.
That's gonna leave a mark.
