It feels like our Beguiler was made to synergize with Call to the Kindred in a human tribal deck.
Put the enchantment onto Invisible Stalker and begin to amass a large number of humans.
Combine those with said stalker, Azure Mage, AEther Adept, and Delver of Secrets, and you could have a small army powering the Beguiler of Wills ability. The Delver is powerful, the adept bounces everything. Could be a fun combo. Not going to get to the standard meta, but for casual it could be annoyingly fun.

Very easy to underestimate. Put her in a deck that can pump out a high number of creatures and she's as good as a Mind Control per turn. Is it competitive? No, of course not. But as casual mythics go this is a great one.

She may beguile me anytime :) Cool effect but she is sadly too overcost and weak, but a fun "build around me" deck challenge at least.

So, having played against this card recently, it is a lot more powerful than you guys seem to think. At the sheer height of competitive, red and black non-creature spells really do make this too risky.
At any other level though, or even at the extremely competitive level if this manages to survie, this thing is evil. Because it is one of those chain reaction cards, where every monster stolen makes the effect more powerful. All it has to do is steal a 1/1 before it can now steal a 2/2. In the decks that run it, it can easily start by stealing a 5/5. The next turn it should be able to steal a 7/7, because you should still be playing at least one creature per turn. And the steal is permanent. Unless a card returns permanents to their owner's control, taking out the beguiler won't give the person their creatures back. Having played against this thing in a few really competitive matches recently, I can guarantee you it is pure evil as the boss of a weenie build.

Not a bad card.... in a different set. I really don't see how this fits in on the plane. Perhaps mind control is simply a part of Gothic Horror I've never heard of. Still, run in a blue/green or white deck and it's pretty good.

Interesting and unique, but just way too fragile, you don't wanna have to wait til turn 7 to start stealing stuff (you have to leave up a counter to protect her)

Turn to Frog.
The creature will have 1 power, which is guaranteed less than or equal to the number of creatures you control (you have Beguiler herself).

Necrotic Ooze + This and some Self Mill are an OK combo. She tends to get swallowed up by a doom blade or shock or something. I have friend who has 4 of them in a deck with Necrotic Ooze and he still gets to use the ability.

Useful only if blue has ways to protect its creatures, and it's not like blue has any way of protecting itself.
