I hate these things. My brother runs them in his dragon deck to render most of creatures useless until he has freaking big fliers in play.

Way back when I first started playing Magic, it always bugged me that Walls could only block 1 creature. I mean, look at that thing - it goes on for miles, so why can't it block more than 1 creature? This fell and Wall of Ice were great in holding off attackers. Then, we eventually learned that killing opposing creatures was better than hiding behind walls. Nobody much cared about walls until they started printing them with neat abilities (Wall of Blossoms, etc.)

@Tavaritz: I like that it's the great wall of China backwards. Problem is, that's more of a black ability (see No Mercy or Dread).
Today, they'd probably print Wall of Sandstone's ability by having it take damage in the form of -1/-1 counters (see Phyrexian Hydra).
