This is pretty scary with Sun Titan.
I'm scared. If you have the board... you pretty much win. They can chump block forever, the scroll will kill them with the loss of life (if you can get a demon)
*Starts building a deck with this and Kami of False Hope*
EDIT: I would have loved this if it said "target player" instead of "target opponent" as that would work awesome with Unburial Rites

Yet another reason to run Sun Titan.dek. Oh yeah, and flickering is a set mechanic now. What have you done, Wizards?

See, I'm seeing instant speed discard for cheap, and I'm worried. I recall nasty things about Necrogen Spellbomb.

Instant speed discard. Two mana. COLORLESS. The demon clause will rarely be relevant.
Bricks will be shat.

To the players saying Scroll of Avacyn is strictly better than this (gain 5 vs. lose 3), I've three words.
Instant. Speed. Discard.

This scroll is more powerful in it effects than the angel version, but the angel version is considerably more viable than the demon version, because there are some really cheap cc angels and angels do not have drawbacks like most demons do.

Better than the angel version. Causing life loss can win you the game. Lifegain doesn't. Still not that great. Unless you slap it on a prototype portal, and use it at the end of each opponents draw step.

Has anyone thought about playing 8 Scrolls (4x Avacyn, 4x Griselbrand) in NON-Commander Kaalia decks? I really think it might be a good idea to try out! :D
