I'm quite fond of this card, but a bit perplexed by it being in the Zedruu the Greathearted deck as it would be a pretty lousy card to donate.

It's not a mana fixer at all, since it's colorless.
Zedruu herself has a dire need of colored mana to work, as do most tricolor generals. I suppose the colorless card draw can draw you into the right color though.

Definitely not something you would want to donate--not everything in that deck is. Sometimes you just need mana. I'm a fan of this card. It's not the best mana fixer in commander (Sol Ring FTW) but even at six it's probably a turn four drop on average.

This card is prety awesome in Commander. Gets you card draw later in the game if you run out of juice, and also helps you replay your general when it goes back to the Command zone, till you choose to get the card draw.

Man I wish they had made this an Eldrazi-subtype artifact back when it came out; the synergy with Eldrazi Temple would have been amazing.

It is eventually 3-card draw at instant speed. Yes, it requires some investment, but that's still pretty powerful.

When i first saw this i thought it was amazing because i missed the Tap in 3, Tap Sac it, Draw three cards. So i figured it was effectively 6 of any mana, accel mana by three, or if you don't need more mana, 6 mana drop to tap for it's own three and use it's ability to crack itself for 3 cards.

Once i saw that second tap symbol on the card, it ended up leaving my decks and floats around my boxes somewhere.
