Another sneaky counter to undying. If it takes over as a strategy red/green has some nice sideboard cards to battle it.

It actually works nicely against undying cards too.

this is a good cannon folder for cards that use counters. or a good counter to undying if your enemy is using it.
This card works wonders if used with recursion effects that remove a chr from play (flicker). Or use it as a sacrifice chr, and blood artist your enemy...makes for a good chump blocker.
Seems like it'll be useless as a 0/1. but for 1G to add a counter while coming into play, it can be used quite frequently.

This is the nicest beetle that I have ever met.

I would rather it were, maybe, a 1/1 that said "When Bond Beetle enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on another target creature."
But that's just my personal preference; still a nifty nugget.

At worst, it's a 1/2 for 1, which about fair. And if you draw it later in the game, you can pump up a more useful creature.

This little fella is always in my commander deck. Partially because I always play green. Primarily because I got to humiliate Olivia Voldaren with giant growth. Plus it synergises with my three favourite abilities, bloodrush, fight and flicker.

Elf 1: "A beetle on your shoulder."
Elf 2: "Thanks, dude! I knew you cared." =D
Elf 1: "No, I mean it. There's a Giant Ambush Beetle on your shoulder!"
Elf 2: "Zomfg! Where did this even come from??? I can feel it chewing! GET IT F@#%ING OFF ME!!!
Elf 1: "Sorry man, I'm just a token... where's Emmara Tandris when you need her?"
