I like this card in junction with Sphere of Safety for another layer of protection all while making the sphere stronger.

cast martial law, clean the table after and you have free one or two attacks on your opponent
also one more mana for a movable (almost) oblivion is great

I have this card in one deck alongside Archon of the Triumvirate and a few Inaction Injunction as well. They definitely come in handy. This card is great and the artwork is really cool too.

This with a protected (say Swiftfoot Boots) Royal Assassin is fun.

Can this card be used to detain the same creature over and over? The reason I ask is the card says a creature your opponent controls. If the creature is detained, your opponent doesn't control it. Or does it become un-detained at the beginning of your turn, and then you can detain it again? Thanks.

Should be called "Roaming Headache"
The Azorius are quite a snotty stuck-up bunch aren't they? *Lavinia presumes you are guilty until your guilt is confirmed - she doesn't seem to understand the idea of anything being proven innocent ...
*Note: see flavor text on Arrest
