I like this card, but I would say it's worse than Inviolability. If what you really want is defense, it should be outright immune to combat. There are better ways to give something +1 in power.

This was one of my favorite cards as a kid. 2 mana for such a massive number. Really wish it would get reprinted. Theros would have been so perfect for it.

I can see this being really annoying on a 1 drop deathtoucher like typhoid rats. I was also thinking about double strikers, but you tend to just pump power and rely on the first strike to keep them alive. Maybe if I ever built a control infect deck that ran white, I could use this to turn some low drops into priests of norn 5 through 8.
