Absolutely hilarious when comboed with Intrepid Hero. Play this, target an opponent's 2 or 3 power creature, then activate Intrepid Hero, targeting said creature. Bonus style points if you yell out "PULL!" before you tap the Hero.

Great flavor and mechanic (hero rides this eagle into battle!) but overcosted. I wish they'd work hard to get the mount mechanic down right (Griffin Rider works well), it's always been a great idea.

Oh you'll pick it in Limited. It might not be your first pick, or your second, or even your twelfth, but by gum you'll pick it eventually. And it will stay in your opening hand, mocking you with its 2/2 4W awfulness, waiting, just waiting for you to get enough mana to play it just so you can see your opponent's face when you go all-in, tap out, and windmill slam this 2/2 Flyer on the table.
