Yup. The +X/+X of Beastmaster is determined when her ability resolves, so anything that you - or your opponents - put on the stack on top of her ability that modify her power (i.e. Giant Growth, Tragic Slip, or, as you suggested, any Bloodrush ability) will resolve first and change the value of X accordingly.

Pros like me will definitely be able to build a deck around this shaman. Combos well with growth, trample, and with Overrun it makes you win more.

The rulings of this card makes no seine at all. A card can't have a negative power or toughness, if it would become negative. It would just become zero, witch is why Choice of Damnations works. So I'm not sure why your creatures would ever be getting negative through this guy.
