Yet another quality snake. It might not be constructed viable, but it's good for limited. I'm thinking it might be fun for a casual bloodrush deck as well; deathtouch is always nice on an attacker.

Infinitely better than Typhoid Rats, so I dunno why they are practically equal in community rating. Great one mana drop.

Somewhere, a Tangle Asp is crying.
...wait, snakes can't cry. They don't have tear ducts.
Oh well. You get the point: Tangle Asp is sad because Wateland Viper is so much better in comparison.
Which is why i don't get that it's Wasteland Viper that looks so damn sad on the artwork.
Maybe it feels sorry for Tangle Asp, and feels bad for being part of the power creep.

A very nice card that is good to bait your attack phase. Attack with something expendable and if they multi-block or block with a high toughness critter like a Wall of Denial, you can bloodrush and mess up their defenses to a good degree.

Solid snake that really livens up the green early game, but I can only give it 4.5 cause the discard only targets attackers. Otherwise, this card would be perfect.

This card is ridiculous. This is that type of cards that for me are ruinning the game. A one drop 1/2 with an ability? If this was a two drop would still be a solid card ahead of the curve. This is just ridiculous with no kickback.

Sweet 1 drop screener with a hard to counter combat trick. I hope I get to pull of the Polukranos trick someday.

Giant Growth, this, and Golgari Decoy make for 6 dead creatures of your choice. And your creatures are unblockable that turn. And it's for {3}{G}{G}{G}. And it's on turn 5.

At first I thought the quote was grammatically incorrect:
*"The Gruul (embrace all things poisonous) and (living on the cracks of society)."
But then I realized it's supposed to be:
"The Gruul embrace (all things poisonous) and (living on the cracks of society)."
At any rate, I still like the sound of changing "living" to "live," I think it flows better:
"The Gruul (embrace all things poisonous) and (live on the cracks of society)."
Why do you care? Oops, I forgot this is Gruul territory. Please don't kill me, I'll just go to my Simic lab where I belong, heh heh heh. {:D
stahp autocorrecting my brackets, braces, and carrots! D:

Love this little baby in standard at the moment. With new BNG stuff such as Fall of the Hammer and bloodrushing it on a Polukranos you can really use deathtouch on the offensive destroying any walls your opponent may put up to stop you.
4.5/5, fun card.

"But then I realized it's supposed to be:

This is a common error that you Simic types normally make trying to look too deeply into things. You're thinking on a grander scale than what the quote is actually referring to. These vipers actually live inside the cracks of society not on the cracks of society. It's always in your nature to change the of order of things to suit your purpose. Tsk tsk. :D
