1/5 flying for 4. great to start with in limited. Giving it options, priceless.

In a RUG deck, a turn 3 Fluxcharger followed by a turn 4 Armed // Dangerous (Armed) & Phytoburst to swing for 20 damage in the air is not too hard to pull off. There is something satisfying about killing an opponent on your first attack.

Interesting synergy with Simic. They do like having one of those numbers down there big, and in return they can move some goodies over to him with the ever useful Bioshift.

Will someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
If you pump it, with say riot gear, and then cast a spell to switch its power and toughness, its PT will be set to the pumped value, i.e. in the above example it will become a 7/2, except it will still be equipped with riot gear which increases its PT to 8/4.
If you can pump it and repeatedly switch P/T, could you potentially make this thing grow bigger, like with Tree of Redemption?

Hard to destroy when you want it to, and hits hard also when you want it to. I like this concept.

I want a miniature one of these. It's a good card though.

It is ever-increasingly apparent that the word "may" eludes people. This would absolutely work alongside Kiln Fiend and the like, simply because it says "you MAY switch", not "you MUST switch". Casting mutiple instants and sorcerys could even keep him from being burned away, just cast another after he's targeted by a Shock or whatnot, then switch back to 1/5 mode.

A flying magitech guy who pretty much embodies everything the Izzet is? Yes, please!
Now, if you've got both him and Blistercoil Weird with Pursuit of Flight, you've got a powerful evasion strategy. Throw in either Niv-Mizzet, a Hypersonic Dragon, and max out on Goblin Electromancer and Guttersnipe, and you're unstoppable!

I built a pretty competitive deck based around Fluxcharger, Phytoburst, and Armed/Dangerous.

As a long time fan of Dancing Scimitar, I really appreciate this Fluxcharger! Same stats, but more damage potential...! Great defence and great attack when you need it! You have to keep position until the opponent have enough creature to pass your defence, and the burn everything with Earthquake-like spells to gain massive card advantage. Equip it with Accorder's Shield for max value!
4/5
