It's hard to justify playing this when you have the much more flexible Sphinx's Revelation. Even at six mana, which is the only point where Opportunity is better, four cards and three cards + 3 life aren't that far apart.

Mind Spring for 4 is good enough once think twice is out of the format. Seeing as you are only going to cast either when you have time to spare to refuel. This nets you 4 cards for 6 mana while think twice nets you 2 for 5.

So am I the only one who absolutely hates this version of the card? It's completely off flavor. The art is an uncomfortably close shot of a weird girl wearing a Mox Sapphire looking at the with a blank expression. What the heck does that have to do with drawing cards?!? This should be the art of some Control Magic variant, not Opportunity.
The flavor text, while kinda insightful, goes against the flavor of the card itself, that it's a card all about waiting all the way up until turn 6+, waiting even until the end of your opponent's next turn in case they play something you want to counter/remove, and then at the right moment, you grab the opportunity to draw cards; in other words, it IS something you wait for!
Just compare it to the 7th edition Opportunity. That one actually shows somebody taking advantage of an opportunity to steal some stuff, and has a great flavor text to match it. But yeah, I'm still happy about this reprint ... (see all)

Sphinx's Revelation is also strictly less hawt :3
just look at her! there's obviously nothing better than what could conceivably be a totally naked lady but because it's not actually showing anything bad, it gets through the new, tougher art direction censors.
<3
I totally like practically every female in the arts of M14 more than many previous cards. the armor is being done more accurately, and the sexy is being done more teasingly and mysteriously. this is ALL to the good! :D

In limited, use this to draw four Opportunities.

@sweetgab - You also have to realize that Sphinx's Revelation is a Blue/White, where this is just blue. Before, Blue control decks that don't run White didn't really have a way to restock their hand in a big way. Blue-white decks should run shinx's rev, no doubt, but if you DON'T run those colors, this is a spectacular alternative.

Just a huge beating in limited. Resolving one of these will usually win you the game. Not to mention, you can even use it to deck your opponent in really long games!

This may sound sexist, but when I first saw this card I couldn't help but think that the name "Opportunity" would be a great/horrible name for a stripper..... I mean... exotic dancer...
